The procedure Moss had is known as the Whipple procedure, which involves removing the head of the pancreas, a portion of the small intestine, the gallbladder, and the bile duct, according to the Mayo Clinic.

“I didn’t think I would ever be in a position like this, as healthy as I thought I was,” Moss shared during his Instagram Live appearance. He went on to explain that he had been hospitalized for six days following the surgery, but was released on Friday.

Moss shared that he is currently recovering from the surgery and will undergo additional treatments, including radiation and chemotherapy, to ensure the cancer is fully addressed.
